Terms of Use
Effective October 30, 2026
Agreement to these terms
This site is operated by Dossier LLC ("Dossier", "we", "us"), which makes Appeal EyeQ. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the site for a firm or other organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you're allowed to. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Permission to use the site
We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to view the site and its content for the purpose of learning about Appeal EyeQ, and to share pages with others at your firm for that purpose. We may change, suspend or end this permission, or any part of the site, at any time, and it ends automatically if you break these terms.
About the information on this site
The site describes Appeal EyeQ, which is in early access. Features, coverage, pricing and timing may change without notice, and the screens shown use sample data for illustration. Nothing on the site is an offer, a guarantee of results or a promise of availability, and a request for early access doesn't create any obligation for you or for us. Access to Appeal EyeQ, if offered, is provided only under a separate written agreement.
Not legal advice
Dossier is a software company, not a law firm. Nothing on this site is legal, tax or valuation advice, and you shouldn't rely on it as advice about your own situation. Using the site or contacting us doesn't create an attorney-client relationship with Dossier or anyone associated with it. Please don't send us confidential client information through the site.
Rules for using the site
Please use the site lawfully and for its intended purpose. You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, harvest or monitor the site or its content by automated means, or use it to build a competing product;
- reverse engineer, decompile or try to discover the site's source code or underlying structure, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
- probe, scan or test the site's security, try to reach parts of it that aren't meant to be public, or interfere with or overload it;
- frame or mirror the site, or remove or alter any notices on it;
- submit false information, impersonate anyone, or submit information about someone else without their permission;
- send anything unlawful, infringing or harmful, including viruses or other malicious code.
Reporting a security issue
If you believe you've found a security problem with the site or Appeal EyeQ, please tell us at hello@appealeyeq.com and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before sharing it. Don't access, change or keep information that isn't yours while looking into it.
Linking to the site
You're welcome to link to the site's home page in a fair and lawful way that doesn't suggest we endorse or are connected with you when we aren't. We may ask you to remove a link, and you agree to do so.
Our content and trademarks
The site and its content, including text, designs, screen images and software, belong to Dossier or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Appeal EyeQ and its logo are trademarks of Dossier. Other names and logos on the site, such as Dropbox, Stripe and Microsoft, belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility; their use doesn't mean those companies endorse us. Except for the permission above, no rights are granted to you.
Information you send us
We handle the information you give us in the early-access form or by email as described in our Privacy Policy. If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback about Appeal EyeQ, you agree we may use them freely without any obligation to you.
Other sites and services
The site may link to or rely on services run by others. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, policies or practices.
No warranties
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that the site will be available, uninterrupted, secure, current or free of errors, viruses or other harmful components. You use the site at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Dossier and its members, officers, employees and agents won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or relating to the site or these terms, even if told such damages were possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to the site or these terms is limited to one hundred dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify Dossier against claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of these terms, block access to the site, and report suspected unlawful activity to, and cooperate with, law enforcement or other authorities, including by sharing information needed for that purpose.
Use from outside the United States
We operate the site from the United States and intend it for people in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, you're responsible for complying with your local laws, and you agree not to use or export anything from the site in violation of U.S. export laws.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute relating to the site or these terms will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
General
These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours, for example as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date. Changes apply from that date, and using the site afterward means you accept them.
